Madrid Part 2

2nd half of my trip! :)

1) San Jerónimo el Real

On the way back, I passed by the church again and wow...

Weddings in Europe are so simple. I wish I can have such a simple and beautiful wedding too.

2) My favourite park - Parque del Jardin

My first slice of fall.

3) Because taking a walk in a park is too mainstream - El Estanque Grande del Retiro

4) Delve deeper and you'll find... Palacio de Cristal

5) Streets of Madrid

In Spain and Portugal, it's very common to see buskers/ beggars with their pets.

6) CaixaForum Madrid

One of the worst paella I had.

And after this I had a bad fall and hurt my back which kind of hunted me for the rest of my exchange.  Overnight trains and buses will hurt like mad for me. But during this fall, I realise how nice the Spanish were. A lot stopped to help me and even the policemen came. It's quite dramatic but I find the policemen really helpful in Madrid. They always patrol in pairs and one of them will be able to speak spanish. They are always around the crowded plazas and shopping streets so if you are lost, just approach them. My exchange mates say I have an obsession with the Spanish policeman. Hahaha.

Shall keep my weekend in Madrid as a separate post! I think the awesome churros that Madrid is famous for deserve more attention ;)
