DAY 1
Huihui came to the budget terminal to send me off and we had Mcbreakfast. I don't know why I didn't take a photo of her but yahh. Mum text to apologise to me too. What a nice way to start the trip.
Met Angelina and Wilfred at Bkk airport.
We took a shuttle bus from Bangkok airport to the bus interchange only to find out that they no longer have the bus to Kanchanaburi. So we took a bus to the minibus interchange but there's no bus to Kanchanaburi there too. So Angelina and I sat down at the bus stop with our luggage while Wilfred went to look for the minibus to Kanchanaburi.
The journey there was really long. I was rather fascinated by all the election panels they put up all over Thai. I took this before as the bus passes by this place where I saw lots of people in yellow shirts alight from the cabs(It turned out that they were really having a rally there).
By the time we got to Kanchanaburi, it's already late at night. We had dinner at some roadside stall and stayed over at a scary and dark guesthouse. We were too scared so three of us shared a bed instead.
DAY 2
We went to the bus terminal and took a bus to ERAWAN WATERFAIL. LOL. Okay. It's Erawan Waterfall.
Monkeys are tempremental. LOL.
Bigbig fishes!
I don't dare to walk over the slippery tree trunk.
It was not too bad. I think that's the only place in Thai that I saw so many bins around. The bus there was really old. We only made it to level 4/5 but at least I still managed to snap some photos before I got afraid of falling and crushing my camera. I bought a photo of myself there too. I just love this kind of candid shots:D
After Erawan Waterfall, we took an even older and slower bus back to Kanchanaburi.
Don't they look like brownies? The girls are dressed like girl guides.
Managed to capture the photo of the King being their photographer:)
Ah well. That pretty much marks the end of our sightseeing in Thai. Disappointing but I channelled all my energy to just shop all the way.
Last night at the super scary guesthouse.
DAY 3
Reached BKK. So excited to see some familiar faces there. I asked YongQiang&co. to book the same hotel as us but didn't get to tour around with them. Just met them at night for a tiny while.
This cat looks so cool in its outfit:D:D
Just pretty much shopped and we caught Hangover 2 at Centralworld at night. Their theatre is bigger than any in Singapore. Really.
DAY 4
Seeing Weiqi just makes me feel so relieved. Haha. Don't know why. Maybe I don't have to text so much to rant. Happyhappy day. But Kao san is still scary. They sells fake ID everywhere.
From my favourite shopping mall -Centralworld.
Really enjoy this parfait from this dessert shop. Only available in Thai. Aww... I want to eat that again!
DAY 5
Met Yongqiang&co. for Mcbreakfast and helped them choose some stuff from Naraya for their gfs, mothers and sisters. Didn't know they have so many awesome stuff there. I got a tote for myself but went there again at night to get another tote and some pouch for my aunts.
Met A&W at Centralworld before taking a train to Jatujak!
I am very direct I'll say. I'll rather you tell me in the face that you are angry too. It's scary to be in the hotel room alone. Very thankful for Weiqi's company. I can totally cab to the airport on my own(and I was planning how to do it since morning; my lil escape plan to the airport) but I am not so daring at night. Gah. Should have been stronger and just stayed in the hotel room alone at night and show you that I can do it without your help or anybody's. I am not her. I am not anybody. I am just me. Take it or leave it.
I am looking forward to panda trip. I didn't plan to shop in Thai at first. Really. I thought I can take awesome photos there while going to sightsee and all but end up I didn't. I have to take good care of my belongings too. Have to be alert all the time. I learnt a lot from this trip. It's okay if people think I can't do things, I can't take care of myself and all. I'll prove them wrong someday. I always have an adult with me when I go overseas and I thought I did this time round and they'll take care of my belongings and all. I assume a lot. I assume too much. Nvm. A lesson well learnt. I learnt to be more daring too. Nothing is missing too. I can take care of my own stuff. I'll come back to Thai to shop again maybe end of year or something. I can bring my sis here. I know the way to the hotel, to centralworld, to platinum mall, to the train station, to Jatujak,... I really hope I can go exchange next semester. I don't have to show you what I can do. But I don't like others to belittle me.
