Garden Date

Boyfriend decide to go on a date with me after my tuition last Sat and tada...

We decided to go to the two conservatories. The weather was so hot that day. So glad for the aircon in both domes.

Don't know what is he looking at but initially he told me it's not worth to go cos when he came here for some Citibank networking event, all the flowers were wilting? But I guess Gardens by the Bay will have them replaced regularly.

The Flower Dome was divided into different regions. Unique flowers/plants are displayed according to their place of origin. We started with Australia.

This leafy plant is so unique! It's fire-resistant and it grows even better in areas with frequent bush fires.

Does this looks like Kangaroo paws to you? Boyfriend's Dad told me that the boyfriend hit the Kangaroo when he was trying to take a photo of the Kangaroo and him. HAHAHAHA.

Super huge Aloe Vera

Bottle neck tree!

Now ALVIN WEE has the same shape as this tree.

Wanted Alvin to do some dreamy candid cliche shot of me while making these drooping branches blur but it came out like this-.-

South Africa region

These flowers look like Orchids right?

Tourist shot

Some rose-looking flowers

What you have to do when you see a palm tree...

Hugeass Hibiscus. Should have put my hand beside it to show how huge these are!

So pretty! I wish it was pink though...

This plant crawls like a liner graph. Hahaha.

Random bunny in the field hard at work

Straw rats!

At the flower dome, there is also some sad/ scary looking cactus. Initially the boyfriend was already keeping the camera away but hey! No discrimination to ugly plants.

This is a rattle snake cactus or something along that line. Looks like a snake right?

To the cloud conservatory

It's soooo cold in here. They are trying to mimic the temperature high up on the mountains.

Pitcher plants!

It's amazing how this calm stream of water create such a huge and powerful waterfall...
